@micwarg For this to work, the company leadership has to foster and protect a culture of writing unsigned 6 pages and reading them in silence. It’s too easy to criticize an output without criticizing the source of it 🙂

Or, as others have already noticed, the friction + loss aversion introduced when you have to make a phone call during office hours in a different time zone to face a human operator paid to survey you for 20min before granting a newspaper unsubscription.

I don’t think that AMZN is the biggest offender. Yes, they leverage loss aversion, bad, but 6 clicks to unsubscribe are nothing compared to the friction introduced by removing the possibility to talk with a human operator and going through endless loops to reach customer service.
