For the most part, people are incapable of assessing the risks of their individual behaviour and how it impacts the whole society they are part of. It takes uncommon skills to do it. It’s unfair to ask them to do it without training and then complain about the outcome.

The *key* reason why the UK is in its 3rd national lockdown and we are considering even more restrictions is that a huge number of people are not following the rules. Everybody can find a reason to make a little exception here or there. Even mindful people I know personally don’t
