I’m absolutely against the war-like mindset of winning vs losing against competitors that rule so many vendors.
I believe in building value for customers and shareholders. If you are truly focused on that, you are too busy to pay attention to what competitors are doing.

The broader adoption no-fee trading apps have, the more retail investors will support companies and teams they love and buy and trust, the more “serving the shareholders” and “serving the customers” corporate missions overlap.

I wish UK and EU startups would be less fixated on replicating whatever works in the US and more focused on developing ideas that are fit for the uniqueness of the Old Continent. I am very nostalgic about the inventions of the Renaissance, Illuminism, and Victorian Age.

After Silicon Valley, the place where to look for some of the most inventive startups in the world is #Israel, not UK and Europe.
