I just realised that my @Facebook and @Instagram networks grow rate has remained flat for years, while @Twitter and @LinkedIn kept growing at a very nice rate. Yet, I remain very active on all of them.

Different content and dynamics, but overall not good for Facebook.

But #2 is incompatible with #1. And #3 requires an enormous investment to convince top developers to support it. Considering the market adoption of the Windows Phone platform, what are the chances?

It would need:
1. 3 screens. Without a front one, it won’t beat the instantaneous access to information that modern smartphones offer
2. Extra-thin body, to not be heavier and bulkier than modern smartphones

So question is: how small is the gap between this and a version that autonomously finds and follows a person across the city after seeing only 1-2 pictures?

If you don’t measure what you do, you don’t know you have a problem until it’s too late.
If you don’t care about what you measure, you can’t remediate problems you have.
If you don’t compare your performance against a benchmark, you don’t know if your remediation is sufficient.

In most cases, especially if your narrative skills are just ordinary, especially if you are trying to say too much, minds are not influenced by 1-3 interactions. To change perception, you have to constantly, relentlessly, convincingly, deliver an incredibly focused message.
