And for the ones that are saying “Oh you’ll see. #ChatGTP will get better and better and you won’t have silly answers anymore.”: perhaps. But until then, remember the hopes attached to Alexa when it launched. In over 8 years it never evolved beyond a glorified alarm clock.

The reason why we marvel at #ChatGTP is the same that makes us believe politicians (and certain corporate leaders) so easily: we are more impressed by eloquence than accuracy.
