Serious Q: when a “startup” stops being called “Startup” and becomes a Big Co? What/where is the threshold? The IPO, a specific revenue target, or something else?

The success of a strategy doesn’t just depend on its execution, as it’s constantly highlighted. Before anything else, it enormously depends on your capability to interpret the available data. Assuming that data can be interpreted in only one way (yours) is a fatal mistake.

2 companies (or 2 leaders in the same company) can develop radically different strategies to move toward the same goal. Sometimes, it’s because they start w/ radically different assumptions. Which, in turn, is because they read the same identical data in radically different ways.
