2/ What if it turns out that 10 out of 10 companies (so, all of them) suffer a breach / month? Would it change anything? I don’t think so. Otherwise the industry would have woken up a while ago and realized that whatever we have been doing so far isn’t working.

1/ I constantly read reports like this: “1 of every 4 companies suffered at least one email security breach”. Security vendors promotes them as a leverage to increase sales. But these reports only highlight how painfully ineffective our current approach to cybersecurity is.

Starting yesterday, Red Hatters working or gathering in a Red Hat office in the United States must be vaccinated. I hope this policy extends globally to all our offices. I also hope that more businesses around the world will follow the example.
