I’m reading about this new incredibile theory of the brain by @JeffCHawkins and the @Numenta neuroscientists. If network speed wasn’t an issue, I wonder if this could be reproducible at world scale via a P2P approach.

@dwhly @hypothes_is 4. There’s no indications that I could also use the bookmarklet (which is a nightmare user experience on mobile browsers anyway).

An average user will walk away thinking this is a desktop-only service. I cannot rely on it on the go.

Problem is that we are always on the go.

3. It’s asking me to justify why I want to use your service on a particular website. That introduces an insurmountable amount of friction, especially for someone that is not sold yet.

@dwhly @hypothes_is This has added an immense amount of friction for any non-dev that wants to use Hypothesis on a mobile device. I invite you to try and copy your bookmarklet on Firefox iOS, for example. People will just give up. We live in a mobile-first world.
