A significant concern I had for quite some time is the politicization of technology. Imagine if, all of a sudden, a technology like kubernetes or quantum computing, or whatever, would be forcefully associated with a political party.

I’m now starting to see early signs of this.

Related to this: we like to talk a lot about “edge computing” these days, but we have seen nothing yet. In a decade, each human body will carry multiple superficial or implanted devices. And we’ll have to rethink the quantity and ubiquity of “IoT” devices.
