Finally read this new @OpenAI paper about a potential path towards artificial general intelligence. I’m not sure about their definition of intelligence. It rather evokes @danieldennett’s idea of “competence without comprehension”.

Compare it with @JeffCHawkins’s definition: “Human intelligence is the brain’s ability to learn a model of the world and use it to understand new situations, handle abstract concepts, and create novel behaviors, including manipulating the environment”.
