@DaveWeLike @Roku I don’t see ads in the UI of the Apple TV.

If you want to offset HW costs via ads, you have to tell the customers explicitly and *prominently*, before they buy the HW. So people can choose. This will be regulated after we reach the tolerance breaking point.

1/ So @Roku says it has 50M active users/month. I like it much better than the Samsung native TV media player: *reliable*, more flexible (private channels), and with more features (private listening). But why do I have to see ads if I pay for the device?
