3/ How about a website for people that have lost their job and are willing to volunteer their skills (for a portion of their day) to projects that might become their business card to land the next job?

2/ I gave this advice multiple times in the last 10 years, but especially in the last 10 months as #COVID19 disrupted the lives of many people I know. But, maybe, something more can be done?

1/ I firmly believe that to be hired you need to give your potential employer a chance to get to know you, letting your work speak on your behalf and raising that voice above the noise.

If they don’t know how good you are, how are they supposed to pick you?

Sometimes I meet founders that have yet to incorporate their startups and are looking for co-founders. There’s one here in London focused on robotics. If you are an expert in both robotics and computer vision #AI, and COVID has made you question your life choices, get in touch.

Among the early-stage startups that I get in touch with every month, there’s one that is building a futuristic-looking, tech-packed face mask. I have high hopes for this and wish them an enormous success.

I used Twitter for 10y now and, invariably, every time I complained about poor or unreachable customer service, I got my problem fixed.

@Twitter should ask vendors to pay for this as it’s providing a free customer service infrastructure while they have made theirs inaccessible.

@_msw_ It won’t be the Apple shift per se that hastens more industry support for ARM, @BootlegGirl, but the performance that Apple will show. E.g.: a laptop at least 50% faster than anything else on the market at same price point and equal screen size and battery life.
