@asheshbadani For now. Eventually, I expect the surveillance systems to preemptively identify every human passing in front of cameras and know upfront his/her location. 7 minutes will be a bug.

Just a few months ago, I suggested that #AI could be used to identify humans by a unique trait (on top of fingerprints and eye movements): how they move. Now we have this:

What’s the goal of @Twitter to get more ad revenue?

More users no matter what (like FB)?
More though leaders (like HBR)?
Higher content quality (like Medium)?
More entertainment (like YouTube)?
More engagement (like Reddit)?
More users data (like Google)?

And, @twitter, you really have to introduce tweet editing. It’s absurd that people have to delete and republish something because of a typo. Do people retweet messages with typos? I don’t think so. See the connection between the two things?

So now #ITsecurity is trendy again and every possible vendor releases new products of all sorts. More, more, more. It doesn’t matter what but more.

I find hilarious that nobody stops and thinks that more is clearly not the solution to problems that we have had for 20+ years.
