@jawnsy About the second part: that’s because the way humans pursue job opportunities has little to nothing to do with their natural skills and desires. Don’t get me started…

@jawnsy About the first part: correlation does not imply causation. And I’d be careful in suggesting that humans are the most productive during their working years. They are more productive than students, sure, but maybe not even remotely as productive as they could (with more happiness)
