@kirkjantzer @sallamar It’s a good advice if all you are after is content. But there are a lot of dynamics that happen in a room during a session that cannot be captured by the recording.

That’s why I attend so many conferences in person.

Full house (and huge queue of people that couldn’t enter) for ENT302 “Optimizing Costs as you scale your AWS” at #AWSreInvent

People taking notes and screenshots of things that should be 101 by now. @sallamar post on Cost Awareness as part of DevOps Culture comes to mind.

Showing up 30min early for #AWSreInvent walk-in sessions is completely insufficient. Set aside 45-60min of queue.
