@AmericanExpress @AskAmexUK that’s where part of the disappointment comes from. I just received an answer that I’d have never expected.

Extremely disappointed by @americanexpress. Extremely. Maybe it’s time to consider alternatives and stop recommending it to my contacts.

@nearyd it’s not the same. The world doesn’t end, ever, but the transition from old to new means long time in middle ages. Which is my point

@kix1979 from what I’ve seen so far, I wouldn’t so confident. What Uber does, despite everything, is pretty incredible.

@kix1979 And I have plenty of comments about Hailo/myTaxi and others. None of them is even remotely close to Uber

@kix1979 in SF 3 @lyft drivers in a row cancelled the ride before arriving. Shameful, unreliable. And the service is not present worldwide.

I sure hope @uber does the right thing and doesn’t collapse, or we all go back to the middle ages of transportation. Worldwide.
