Not talking early about your competitive threats, dismissing them or pretending they don’t exist, doesn’t send a good message to your own company. You either look clueless or arrogant.

I am very impressive by the interviews that @cbinsights lined up for its A-ha! conference. But there’s a massive difference between @chamath interview and the others. Nobody is willing to take risks and speak their mind and be uncomfortable. Not much learning without that.

Watching the interview with Uber at the @CBinsights A-ha! conference confirms, once again, that the perspective of people living in Silicon Valley is very different (and often times distorted) compared to the rest of the world.
