@Falkris_ @hardmaru @GoogleAI @Google You can spin-off moonshots incubators to derisk from a financial standpoint and increase agility. Possibly some of the reasons why Google > Alphabet.

But reputational risk, which is big in this situation, remains there as long the startup is linked to the original org.
