@fintanr @cpswan Orchestration did not always have a conductor. It’s quite a recent “invention”. In the 17th century, a member of the ensemble would act as a conductor. The 1st violin.
In opera, there were 2 conductors.
So what are we going to do if/when the choreographer decides to be on stage?
