One aspect that is often forgotten by vendors is that their software competes against others for a limited customer budget. So vendors better create software that is essential or the perception that it is. It’s a BU or marketing job (respectively). Sales can’t do that at scale.

This is one of the many thoughts I post on Twitter on daily basis.
