@krishnan Not in this case. In this case, it’s human nature down to the individual level. There are very precise and deeply researched (in cognitive psychology) dynamics that prevent individuals and groups from embracing a data-driven culture. No tool, alone, can fix that.

@krmarko One day, us vendors will learn that tools alone do nothing particularly effective. For customers to truly return on the investment, you can only sell a bundle made of four indivisible elements:

– tool
– tool training
– operational best practices
– change management activity

@krmarko But, as I often say, the IT industry is still in its infancy.

I could spend *hours* talking about why establishing a culture of data-driven processes and decisions is impossibly hard. No, it has nothing to do with tools availability or maturity. #reinvent2021
