1. today’s non-AI-generated content catalogue already bore us to tears.

2. ultimately, everything humans make is a remix of older ideas. AI would simply be faster and more efficient than humans at finding what remixes bore us less.

@asymco It’s a good point, but I’m not sure it’s the same. Here I’m talking about a technology that automates the whole production (vs a tech that dramatically reduces some costs of the production).

Now the question is @asymco: will all of this remain true if, in a distant future (probably too far to help Netflix), movies are generated by #AI (e.g., a descendant of #DallE2) at a fraction of the cost and in enormous variety? >
