Fascinating results. Dennett’s experts in his work could recognize the original answers only 50% of the time.

Anybody interested in #AI and LLMs like #gpt3 should read about this experiment and try to answer. The original link:

@robbeekmans I’m glad. Let’s say, then, that airlines have been uneven in supporting these new technologies. Or, maybe, the passengers of this particular flight are extremely unlucky.

“with @danieldennett permission and cooperation, Anna Strasser, Matthew Crosby, and I “fine-tuned” #GPT3 on most of Dennett’s corpus, with the aim of seeing whether the resulting program could answer philosophical questions similarly to how Dennett himself would answer those Qs.” https://t.co/KK67i9syxl

Given the ocean of data about increasing online consumption, like the one below I posted this morning, maybe customers would be happier if airlines would invest on internet connection rather than in-flight entertainment. https://t.co/5ODX8XAZZo

First flight in 3y. I had forgotten how terrible in-flight connection is. But it’s the 1st time I experience the new incompatibilities with Apple’s (wonderful) Private WiFi, Limit IP Address Tracking, Private Relay, etc.

Passengers around me spent the 1st hour trying to connect.
