If the price increase is gradual, I bet people would pay as much as an iPhone.

If all you do is designing a front-end for an API call to OpenAI / Microsoft, Google, etc., then it’s hard to call you an AI company. But people are building much more than that on top of that API call.

2. Are those people also on Twitter publishing the same type of content they publish on Insta?
I checked and I know they don’t. In part because Twitter doesn’t allow them to use the same format. I know you & the team are working on this, so it’s going to be solved.

Problems people would have when contemplating a migration from Instagram to Twitter:

Just the idea of going through 10 years of posted pictures, downloading them, and re-uploading them, makes me give up immediately.

So they need a frictionless way to export & import.

4. How do I tell people on Insta that I moved to Twitter?

So they need a mechanism for Twitter to automatically post something on Instagram. Or maybe a cross-posting mechanism so that the transition can happen over time.

5. What’s in for me if I move from Insta to Twitter? The volume of ads on Insta is enough to contemplate a migration but what if they reduce that volume? What’s beyond that that makes Twitter a better place for visual communities?

So they need a compelling reason. Monetization?
