4/ Over the past 3y, EU funding for #AI research&innovation has risen to €1.5b (70% increase compared to the previous period)…still a fraction of public and private investments in rest of the world. ~€3.2b were invested in 2016, compared to ~€12.1b in NA and €6.5b in Asia
