Not because I read less but because there’s a lot more that I want to read. The time we have to build knowledge is too little. How much more effective we’d be if we could absorb books faster?

Once cameras have plastered the city (phase 1) and people are identifiable through face recognition (phase 2), the holy grail of non-online mass-surveillance is #AI lip reading (phase 3). It’s told that only 30% of speech can be understood in this way. We’ll see.
