@samcharrington @krmarko @stevesi I missed it, so thank you. But it’s not the point. Even if it would be ready for prime time, it’s ONE device against 2M lightbulbs/fridges with Alexa and Bluetooth slapped on them.

It’s really being blind about where the real need (and market opportunity) is.

Equally shocked that major tech news outlets like @verge or @TechCrunch don’t call it out & push for more meaningful innovation.

We have reusable rockets. Cities are about to change forever w self-driving cars. And yet billions of people still waste endless hours w house chores.

Reading #CES2018 news coverage. I am shocked that in 2018 consumer brands still think that #smarthome means turning off lights with voice.

Smart home innovation should tackle hard & time-consuming problems: ironing, folding, changing bed sheets, cooking. What are you thinking??

This is a thing that is really not clear to a lot of people. And it will destroy their status quo.

You would expect that, in 2018, a firm that charges tens of thousands of dollars in advisory and consulting services would be amazing at slide decks and newsletter design, as they have large diffusion and represent the brand.
