As much as I love open initiatives, there are 2 problems:
1. people loooveee their Echo.
2. it’s too much effort to save people from getting up from their sofa and press the switch 1mt away.

Remember that your value proposition has to address an actual market problem. Otherwise, it’s just a proposition.
