Imagine if somebody would tell you that cars (not just your car, but all cars – a mission critical system) are obsolete and should be replaced by e-bikes. And then, 2y later, they would say that e-bikes are obsolete and must be replaced by personal copters. And then, 2y later…

The amount of books you read (or their quality) is not necessarily an indication of anything. I met people in life that read thousands of books but couldn’t internalize any of them. They were incapable of seeing reality through different lens or connecting dots in new ways.

Browsing LinkedIn you read things like “#CIOs must create multi-year budgets and being selective in their digital projects”.
Browsing Twitter you read vendors and analysts saying things like “this is the year of X”.

I think we are playing this game wrong. #UnattainableIT

Control what is being said and you can establish whatever truth serves you best.

@gunnarwb Did you ever use one of those virtual personal assistants? I did. That’s another #AI that is far away from human-level accuracy. So here you are talking about chaining multiple (imprecise) algorithms to accomplish a goal that gives you very marginal benefits.
