If the former, we already have that: for a very long time, humans have been trained to behave in an automated way. We already are the algorithms we don’t like.

@geoffarnold I don’t think people are skeptical. I think they are afraid of dying because of a machine mistake (per our previous exchange). If the manage to put aside that fear for a moment, the actual experience is unbelievable.

Overcome that fear will require years of AV use to believe.
