That’s why I built https://t.co/vsOnfgvwOg 2 years ago. Eventually, human body enhancement will matter more than any other use case we’ve ever focused on.
Yet, I remain convinced that the ultimate computing environment, the ultimate “edge device” (if you insist in giving it an unnecessary new definition) will be the human body. What we are doing in data centers is just learning how to do things before that stage.
The difference is that now I have an understanding of the challenges a #CISO faces and maybe I can try and apply to cybersecurity all I have learned in the other domains.
It takes a long time to see the big picture.
I started my career in IT exactly 20 years ago, from #cybersecurity. I moved to #virtualization and then #cloudcomputing, focusing on the enterprise management, #automation, and #AI aspects of those domains. And now, after so long, I’m back at the starting point. Oh the irony.
So far, if you believe research, we’ve seen #AI identifying humans from the way they walk to the way they breathe. I wonder if we have unique ways to move the cursor, too, and if we could be identified by how we interact with the browser or another UI.
And so now we have the “Machine Behaviour” scientific discipline. It seems more of an attempt to build a new kingdom to rule than a true necessity > The Anthropologist of Artificial Intelligence https://t.co/wrUYRmwB1y
On one hand, facilitating/improving access to knowledge is one of the most underrated actions you can take to increase adoption.
On the other hand, producing high-quality documentation is one of the most underestimated investments you can make.
