@ruben_rodr The two things go hand in hand. If the automation language is simple enough you shouldn’t even need to write documentation. It should be self-explanatory.

Consumer automation and orchestration platforms like @IFTTT, @zapier, @MicrosoftFlow, and the upocoming @ClarisOfficial Connect share similar challenges with enterprise equivalents like #Ansible. More than most realise. The big difference is in perspective and vision.

Customers and non continue to be very interested in #Ansible Security Automation. The potential of a universal language supported by an open source community to orchestrate the whole security ecosystem is immediately appreciated. Very rewarding to see the vision becoming reality.

One of the biggest challenges in maintaining automation is that, when workflows work well, you stop thinking about them and you forget what they do. When an issue arise, you have to go back and try to remember/interpret the logic. An easy to understand automation language is key.

The “DNA of a company” is defined by its leadership, yes, but it’s perpetuated thorough HR practice. If you want to become a customer-centric / design-savvy / C-level friendly / whatever organization, you must hire people aligned to that mission, in skills, experience or ambition
