@cdaffara The integration of these BYOS solutions with corporate IT would be a class of solutions on its own. Think about the Zapier, IFTTT, Flow of the world, at a deeper level.

@cdaffara Yesterday I searched for a CRM for a personal project. Dozens of SaaS tools that start at $0/month came up. Many with an impressive set of features, tailored for my needs, and option to have “enterprise-grade” support. No bloatware that nobody uses with a questionable value prop

Only 2% of @Wikipedia readers (out of hundreds of millions of people per month) donate. Disgraceful.

20 years ago, the BYOD model was inconceivable. Today it has become the norm in many orgs around the world.
In a sense, shadow IT is an unsanctioned “bring your own software” model. But what if tomorrow it becomes the norm, too, and enterprise software as we know it disappears?

If you manage to build the perception that your product is a precious commodity, all of a sudden the political positions and security concerns re cloud vs. on-premises go away.

Kudos to @Microsoft: in a room full of #CIOs that DON’T / CAN’T adopt public cloud (for people in Silicon Valley: yep, they exist), almost everybody has Office 365. Absolutely exceptional. The comments? Even better: “Oh Office 365 is not really a cloud decision. It’s commodity”.

This is very interesting @RossumAI. I’d love to see how the #AI works against a more complex document like a 20 pages research report or a presentation deck. > How Rossum is using deep learning to extract data from any document https://t.co/U47h6vN5MI

At my recent @IDC executive lunch in Lisbon I talked about cross-silos teams:

Cloud: you must collaborate. Invest in tools
DT: you must collaborate. Invest in tools
AI: you must collaborate. Invest in tools

Yet #CIOs are never suggested to invest in team soft-skills for collab
