Technologists’ attachment to their tools and discipline for the sake of it (AI, cybersecurity, containers…you name it), in complete disregard for the business outcome, is akin to stock market speculators knowing sophisticated trading tool inside out but making no money.

This, in turn, is slowly but inexorably deteriorating enterprises trust in #AI. So fewer projects, smaller budgets, shrinking job market, and constrained salaries for data scientists.
