So far I’ve seen 3 types of vendors. The ones with:
1. complex slides & complex tools
2. easy slides & complex tools
3. easy slides & easy tools

#2 is by far the most dangerous, as they set the wrong ROI expectations in #CIO’s mind. The delta is $$$$ and often leads to failure.

Today I tried Google Stadia given they offered a demo game. I’ve never seen so many pop-ups in a row in my life. And the whole experience was really confusing. I hope Amazon Luna can do better (unable to test it as today’s early access is only for US residents).

2/ People’s affinity in product evaluation depends on how their agency. On how they approach a problem and what solution fits better a certain mental model. Not on their job title.

1/ We market products to personas just like we teach to the “student” persona. But students are not all the same and same teaching method applied to everyone works poorly.
The real world is about problems and solutions, and different agents that connect them in different ways.
