I have a growing suspicion that LinkedIn feed algorithm prioritizes feel-good and business-related (leadership sound bites, career advice, accomplishment celebrations, etc) posts over tech/SME ones. It’s hard to explain the enormous difference in views I see across posts.

@nudelbrot What really matters is that it’s happening and if a tentative deadline (no matter how inaccurate) can foster participation and enthusiasm from the broader community, I’m all in for sharing it. I want to give EleutherAI as much visibility as possible.

@nudelbrot I said “they are hoping to release”. I think we are saying the same thing.

@nudelbrot It’s in the FAQ, so I assume it’s up to date as the rest of the information in there. If not, then not even the goal of 150-200b parameters is certain (it’s in the same FAQ).

Something you don’t hear often enough:
