If you want an *unfiltered* update on the state of #AI applied to the self-driving car problem, I highly recommend this 1h keynote from George Hotz announcing Comma 3.

You don’t have to be interested in the product to appreciate the technical and business content.

Learning by example (in this case, provided by Codex) is infinitely more effective when the example matters to you.

I suspect that learning a programming language will be immensely more rewarding (and potentially easier) if people can modify a preexisting application that is 80% there compared to what they wanted to build in the first place. @OpenAI Codex can build that rudimentary initial app

At work, like in private life, trust is the only token you truly have to trade. Break a trust relationship with your coworkers or customers, and it might take you a decade, if ever, to rebuild it.

Sometimes, tho, the hardest thing is realizing that you have lost their trust.

I go to parties and professionals in disparate lines of business (from marketing to accounting) ask me about #AI. They all have a vague opinion about what it is, how it will impact their jobs, and how quickly. But they -all- see models being deployed in their workplaces.
