I’m trying @fig. I’m in awe. And, while my example below is not as glamorous as the autocomplete of a git,
docker, or docker-compose command, it gives you a sense of how useful the app can be for a new user.

Fig definitely is a Startup Worth Watching: https://t.co/UrwnYib8d3 https://t.co/IgZUd9knwU

@jerrychen That alone has at least a dozen competitors today (depending on how you want to slice it) and many more, I’d expect, as we see a renaissance of the IT enterprise management market segment.

@jerrychen I think it’s a really admirable effort. Yet, there’s room for improvement both in terms of taxonomy and included services. For example, in “Management & Governance”, the most glaring omission is AWS Systems Manager, arguably one of the most sophisticated CMP I’ve ever seen.

@Aazarshad I can confirm that these are great suggestions. They really work.

I worked with dozens of startups in my 20* years of career. Some used many of these tactics and became significantly more successful than their competitors. Some of those startups are public companies today.

@fig @MattSchrage So far I only saw examples about git. And I don’t have access yet. So…I’ll let you know when I have a chance to review.

@MattSchrage @fig Then you should tell the world (or maybe I missed it). And take my money now 🙂

The ultimate thing that @fig can do to eliminate command prompt friction is to suggest autocomplete for ANY Linux command *option* according to the man page *with* a side description of what the option does.

What is the book that changed your life? (not novels or religious texts)

Revenue modelling is exceptionally hard. You don’t appreciate how hard it is to build the castle of assumptions you have to make to get to the numbers until you do it yourself. And if you have somebody that does it for you, that person probably isn’t thanked enough.
