Three thoughts:

1. Thank you, Lydia.

2. This goes very well with one of my mantras: asking devs to be expert in everything is unrealistic and unsustainable.

3. Lydia might secretly be one of Dilbert’s writers. https://t.co/kpgsAuuIeW

Every year @Adobe shows more impressive steps towards a synthetic reality. Or, as I call it, a post-real era. All this technology, intentionally or not, is key to achieving realistic #VR >

The biggest feature of macOS Monterey is Shortcuts. Alone, it’s worth the update. I’m very happy to see early support from companies like @pixelmator and @flexibits. I hope this is just the beginning of a rich ecosystem and frictionless tools.

This is the decade of #automation.

I wish @Apple would evolve Shortcuts into a IFTTT-like platform. We need more competition in that space.

Especially this bit about how they do employees #onboarding and the risks of a hybrid workforce approach. https://t.co/zaxCJGb5pn

What is the book that changed your life? (not novels or religious texts)

@0xF2 Problem with this is that the perception of “easy” is entirely subjective. It depends on attitude, innate skills, education, background, and life experience.

It takes an enormous amount of empathy to answer that question. That’s why it’s an answer that only some should give.

A new version of my Friction Curve (for application delivery) – circa 2015-2016. Probably still very imprecise, but better at conveying the point.
