Reading exceptional books doesn’t indicate anything but exposure to exceptional ideas.

It’s true that sometimes a business model cannot be replicated because it depends on certain unique conditions. More often than not, tho, we can’t replicate that model because we’ve looked for its key ingredients in the wrong place.

(notice that the book has nothing to do with IT or high-tech. It’s a theory about the nature of Science)

Clickbait titles generate more pageviews which generate more ad $. But that amount is never balanced against the associated infrastructure costs (network, compute, etc.).

Imagine if clickbait titles had estimated price tags generated as soon as news outlets type them in draft.
