On the following quote, I disagree:
“When the stakes are higher, though, as in radiology or driverless cars, we need to be much more cautious about adopting deep learning. When a single error can cost a life, it’s just not good enough.”

Human errors, especially in driving, cost many lives daily. Yet, we still allow people to drive. The expectation that #AI has to be flawless compared to human drivers seems irrational. If it’s significantly less prone to errors than us, it’s already a big win.
