I’ve started receiving black and white answers a couple of weeks ago, when I started publishing my experiments with #dalle2.

(and my intention was to provoke that discourse)

B&W answers typically are a sign that not enough time has been spent on the question.

2/ 2. Fall in love with a tech (which usually reinvents the wheel), develop it barely beyond a PoC, and then start wandering across BUs looking for a problem to solve and a PM to adopt it.

1/ There are 2 ways to do R&D in a large vendor:

1. Research a solution for an existing business problem and build it (possibly on top of existing tech that is already sold), helping BUs where they don’t have enough resources or can’t justify the long-term investment.

3/ One of these two approaches doesn’t make any business sense and it’s only acceptable if there’s a clear mandate from the company to expand in completely uncharted territories.

Ultimately, human creativity will become the only tool people need to do their jobs. Not just to entertain, but also to invent, and to produce. The makers of processes and tools will be in a very different position than the one they are in now.
