1/ When we talk about the “style” associated with an artistic movement or a specific artist, we are really talking about a pattern. In the history of #art, it has always been incredibly hard to create a pattern that is original and unforgettable and hard to imitate.

2/ For the ones that have succeeded, the prize has always been the glory of shaping human culture at a global level. For decades or centuries, sometimes millenniums.
Now, all of a sudden, people have an #AI that can identify any pattern and imitate it instantaneously.

3/ So what happens to the artists that pour so much effort into crafting a style that is hard to imitate? How do they feel when that advantage is being taken away effortlessly by an #AI that is in the hands of everybody, and everybody uses carelessly?

4/ What’s left for the artists to do so that their work remains unique throughout the centuries?
