Are we building a future that looks like the one we read in science fiction because we were influenced by science fiction or because it’s inevitable?

In either case, what exceptional sci-fi has been written in 2022 that we might remember 150 years from now?

Now that Project Wisdom has been unveiled, I can take a little more active role in the #AI communities I follow. I just had a great intro chat with the people at @carperai. It’s a grand, very ambitious project with huge potential. Worth watching.

Generating #stablediffusion images on an Apple M1 Pro is excruciatingly slow. Normally it won’t matter much, but, of course, I decided to generate an image with two completely different characters, hands, and a chess board. All things notoriously easy to achieve with SD 1.x
